Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Has anyone done a short shift from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th on a 48re. I ran a big block Chevy truck yesterday and the only place he pulled on me was in at the top of 2nd gear. If i could have lowered the shift point the cummins could have used the turbo more efficiently (I think). Can this be done thru the tcm. I appreciate the advise. What a great place to learn for an old gasser. This is just exactly backwards for a gas motor. Oh yea beat him 2 truck lenghts in about 1/2 mile. :-laf
