I wonder if this was a drunk squabble turned bad between friends or if the guy was indeed trespassing. One thing I know, I would hate to have to pull the trigger on a nut case only to have him survive and come back at a later date to finish what was started. Just the thought of that would have me carrying a larger pistol around than a lil pea shooter if I was in his shoes...

I don't think the caliber was at fault here, the shot placement was. I think Giffords was shot with a nine. It sounds like the perp was at the home owners house to discuss prescription pain meds? Wonder what that was all about? He is being charged with assualt and robbery. Probably cop a plea for breaking and entering
