Hey guys evertime i look around my truck has something wrong. It currently has 28, 301 miles on it. i was wandering if a sould attempt to arbitrate the truck or just not bother. From the day i got it the trucks brkes have a high ptched squeal when driving.
Here is a list of things taht were covered under warranty.
Miles
8,745 Replaced window regulator
8,285 Passenger side seat recliner broke.
13,018 high pitched squeal in brakes
(NEVER FIXED)couln't find problem

drums warped.
25,747 Replaced Track bar
28,262 Brake squeak(never fixed again)

Guys any advice would help, don't now what to do, I have the 100,000 warranty but don't know if worth taking it back all the time.
Afraid of the future problems with the truck if this is happening under 30,000 miles.

Hopefuully you guys will help so talk to you later.

Unfortunately you can't start any arbitrtion with that kind of list. In order to qualify for the lemon law, your truck has to have 5 or 6 attempted repairs on the same component or assembly. In other words, you have to keep having the same problem repeadedly come up that the dealer can acknowledge being a problem but can't fix. One front end part, then one back end part, then an interior item doesn't qualify.
Check your 'Lemon Law' booklet that came with your owners manual.

My 2000 Ram had a brake squeak that wouldn't go away. The right side caliper was dragging just enough to cause a squeak, but not cause brake pull. Dealer replaced both calipers under warranty.

Junior- I have sucessfully completed a buyback- two important things to check:
1) Your State's lemon law- each state is different- I'm in ca three failed attemps for the same problem or the the vehicle in the shop for 4 weeks for a repair.
2) hurrass your dealer about your problem and keep records- do not accept the answer "thats how these trucks are" remember you know better.

You can always file the paperwork, the arbitration people do seem fair as long as you remember honey attracts bees better than vineger- be #ad
when you're #ad
The arbitration people will research your claim and then contact you- If you have grounds for a buyback they will tell you and advise you through the process- one thing you will have to pay is what they call usage fee- a value per mile driven to the first occurance of your problem and it ain't cheap-

I recomend to go for it, realizing the worst case- you still have your truck- best case you're driving a new truck all you have invested is time, a couple of phone calls, & a couple of stamps good luck---
