Where do I begin?



Currently I am just running DD3's and the Puck in my truck for a grand total of 370 HP.



However I would like to try and get over 400 HP without tapping the wire. I would also like a really nasty loapy idle on my Little ETH.



What Injectors will give me the loapy idle?

Or should I just find a way to reprogram the ECM to randomly drop 1 to 2 cylinders?



I think I could reach 400 HP with DD SM's or Bully Dog 5's and a HX40.



any ideas?
 
If your looking for a lope,go huge,my bully dog 7's do not lope,they idle smoother than the dd3's. BD5's should get you to 400hp,I doubt the SM's will without a pump wire tapped.

wanna bet! I think you need to take a closer look at what the pointed set screw does.

Diesel Freak, so what's the big deal with tapping the wire, other than warranty issues. Edge's tap is virtually un-detectable.

umm like shuddering, excessive EGT for the power level, overly stressing the injector pump. . yadda yadda yadda:p

well, since I have an ETH, and most ETH's I have seen with just DD2's run close to 370-380 HP... . a PE Comp would only push me to 400-405 HP in theory... ... and EGT will be through the roof even with an HX40.



so, my plan is to slap in some larger injectors and an HX40 and have 400 HP with lower EGT and less stress on the injector pump when playing with the ricers
 
You still need a fueling box! get a Comp!

Briarhopper put down 397hp with just the Edge EZ and a set of JR Adkins injectors.



On the PDRhx40 thing, if you want more hp on the dyno go with a bigger injector and use the 18. 5cm turbine housing, but if you want responsiveness on the bottom end use the 16cm turbine housing.

Diesel Freak, I'll swap your VP for mine. It will give you that nice idle lope. It automatically drops 2 cylinders at random. Let me know where to send it to... :D

Justin, I thought he made something like 470 with the injectors and PnP and then 490s with his PM3 on level 4 (and 0 FP)?

I have a hard time hitting 1400* with the DDII's, PDR 40, Drag comp on kill. I think if you decide to tow with the showerheads and 400 hp you will see some serious egt problems. With the HY35 I used to be able to pin the guage at 1600*... .....

This is true, but it beats the h#ll out of cutting into the stock wiring harness, corrosion in the wiring etc... and if it ever goes to the stealer for a major problem the stock cover goes back on leaving no tapped wire to give away our little secret.



Yeah, yeah, I know they can tell something has been goin on when they scan it, but fact of the matter is its gonna take a pretty catistrophic failure for me to bring it to the stealer. I am my own warantee station, or I use Massdiesel if I get in a real jam. If you wat to play you gotta be willin to pay.

It was 480 with just the VA and 497 on level 4 TST PM3 Comp & 0 FP.
