Shudder in rear end

I have a 2500 auto trans a dana 70 w/ limited slip rear end when I turn left at real slow speeds I feel the rear end shuddering I checked the gear oil and it was good and I even jacked up the rear to raise it up and then filled it with gear oil any ideas?

hey craftybigdog did you add any friction modifier. i posted recently about problems using after market modifier which caused chatter during turns. im using quaker state synthentic and dc modifier.

Well Im using amsoil synthetic gear lube do I need a modifier if so what do you recommend

Add about 1/4 bottle of Mopar friction modifier and drive for a day and see how it works. Just add alittle at a time or you give up your limited slip. I also run amsoil and about a month after install mine started to chatter on turns. About 1/3 bottle cured mine.

I had the same problem, the dealer added two bottles of the modifier and I was good to go.

Yep, 2 bottles from the dealer will fix you up. About $6 ea. I think
