I was pulling my fishing boat today, (not heavy) and when I accelerated the whole truck shook, I let off and accelerated again and it did the same and the motor died. Pulled over and looked under hood and under truck, nothing unsual. Started truck up and it ran just fine the rest of the day. Any ideas

A bad carrier bearing( drive shaft support bearing) will cause a shudder it obviously will not cause the truck to stall. Often the shudder will only occur when there is a load on the truck

Sounds like the torque converter locking up too soon, or the transmission shifting in a higher gear too soon. I would start with cleaning the throttle position sensor, and the crank position sensor. One may be going bad. Keep us posted. Good luck.
