I Have A Shutter In My Truck Only When My Lq Horse Trailer Is Hooked Up. It Is A Gooseneck And Weighs About 12k. The Shutter Is Like A Lanch Shutter But Is Present Till The Tq Locks Up In 3rd. Then It Is Gone. Truck Doesn't Do It Empty Or With A Smaller Trailer.

My First Though Was U Joints With 100k On The Clock I Know They Are Do, But I Can't Find Any Slop In Any Of Them.

Thanks For The Ideas.

Does it seem to be hunting for gears? Try footing it a bit more , I know the horses won't like it.

That's a very common thing with our trucks. There's many posts on the subject but, none have a definitive answer. It's annoying but, not a problem.

Most experience it with or without a load. Make sure to check your carrier barring for to much play.

The Carrier Barring Has A Little Less Than 1/2 Inch Of Play In All Directions I Quess That Is Where The Problem Is. What Is The Worst Case Senerio If I Don't Replace It.

Upon further inspections I found a shinny spot on the rear u-joint after removing it I found it to be the problem. When a head and replaced the rest while under the truck. The other two were dry and ready to go bad any day.

Thanks for the Help
