Side moldings

My truck came without body side moldings and I was wondering how they go on, do they apply with the 3m tape or do they have clips that hold the molding on I want to put them on the length of the truck to try and illiminate any more door dings that are being put in the side of the truck.

The new trucks no longer get the molding beyond the cab. I have the dually so I had to add six separate pieces to the bed. They come with the 3M tape already installed. Just clean your body panels really well with rubbing alcohol (alcohol wipes also come with the strips) and just stick 'em on. Be sure that they end up where you want them because there is no going back. Try Mopar4less.com for the best prices.

You can get all pieces except the one behind the rear wheels to the bumper for the 1500,2500 trucks. Only the 3500 has all pieces to the rear.
They can be quite expensive for all pieces. I just picked up the 2 pieces from the front of the bed to the rear wheels on mine.
For the same reason, to keep door dinges at bay.

thanks dresslered,,was just going to post a topic on where to get the moldings for my 3500,,i cant believe d/c ,,,the trucks look un-finished with out the molding on the bed,,,what year of 3500's was last to have them?? is this the year we place an order for or do we place it for 2001's ,,how much is a set of 6 pieces ??

2000 was the first year for the naked bed without side trim. I have a set to go on the cab of an extended cab. All you have to do is find some good tap, and you can have mine. I wanted a sport but could not find one so I made it myself. The bed is red Rhino over the rails, The front-end replacement is red Rhinoed. The whole thing is RED.

thanks,i'm gonna order some today,,might just go with the 4 pieces needed on the dually fenders,,just had some grafics done on the sides of the truck because it looked bare,,was scared to death watching that tape go on the side of the new truck !!! but it really turned out nice,i will post a picture when they get developed and see what you all think
