Silcone Rad Hose

Going to replace the Rad. hose top and bottom and heater hose. Is the Silicone hose that Gates and Goodyear worth the money. Just looked at MR BOBS looks nice but at that price you could do all new hose 2 or 3 times.

Are you going to keep the Truck a long time. (like 10 year's) Then they are worth it to me. Do it once and forget them.

Ya im into keeping my cars and trucks the wife on the other hand well I leave it alone. But silicon is that good well give it a try then

Are you sure Gates or Goodyear make silicone

Hoses for our trucks?

I have been using Mr Bobs on both mine

And have installed many on other year Ctds

I consider them to be a lifetime hose.

They may seem pricey but if you buy the

Complete set they are less than Oem

Assuming you also do the cac hoses

Thanks Bob. Gates and Goodyear do make silicone hose but would have to make a connection pipe to hook up to the Rad, Industrial Metal in Riverside said they can make the pipe bends with no problems so just the ends of it would be the silicone. I have already made the heater hose out of silicone on our trucks we added a coolant filter and fabed the filter into the system there. Your correct no pre fab hose from either company.
