Unfortunately I talk on the phone a lot while in the truck (running a business). Getting the truck a little quieter makes those long days a little easier to handle on my ears.

I have an Amsoil nanofiber open filter and an Aurora 2000 (S300 based) and I can hear fine, I am also on the phone quite a bit. I have more problem with engine and exhaust noise than the turbo whine.

Guess I should have added that you would have to machine the turbo for one. What would I do without you, Jim?

that's pretty much what I got out of it. you could have an S300 housing machined for a silencer ring... if there's not enough meat for a step, you could machine a wide groove, and use one snap ring as the silencer seat, and then another snap ring to retain it.
