Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I know this is probably the 409 thousandth time that this has been hashed over but I'll relay my experience anyway.
The short of it is that there is an increase in turbo whine or maybe "whoosh" would be a bit more descriptive. I still have my stock muffler and resonator so maybe it would be more noticible if it was straight piped. I didn't notice too much difference with the ring out although there is a difference. For now I'll leave the ring off and keep my ears tuned. By the way... I can hear it better with the windows up than when they're down.
