Wunderwood, I think the smarty plus de ole TST module is going to spool the silverbullet a little sooner this go around.

Wow, the silverbullet is an awesome turbo . I had no clue it would spool down low as well as it does being such a big turbocharger. The smarty really gives the silverbullet the edge down low. Now mid to up top , all I can say is hold on to your paints because you are in for the ride of your life!!

The thing I cannot get over is how it will not stop pulling until you let off the pedal. You can just feel yourself go back in the seat.

When compared to the sps62, I was truely surprised!

I cannot see that much difference it how either turbo spools from 0 to 12 psi. I think with the smarty on board, it makes this large turbo come to life very fast.

I would like to say thanks to Shane at Industrial for the long conversations about sps62 and silverbullet and thanks to Bob at Wagner and Assoc. for the smarty help.

Shane, this time around, I am easily seeing 8, 9 ,10 psi with light throttle, I think the smarty really helped this area.

Towing?

Have you guys towed with the Silver Bullet? How does it do? I like what I hear about the turbo, but I still need to be able to tow 8 - 10 k a couple of times a year. More info please... . Thanks.

RPElliot, Sure the silverbullet will work for you.

If you tow most of the time then I think the sps 62 is more suited for you.

The sps62 is great for performance and towing. The sps62 will be very efficient down low and mid rpm where the silverbullet will lean more towards mid and upper rpm. I Think Shane or Brady could chime in and give a better discription of each. Maybe they will do just that. If I were you I would call Shane or Brady at Industrial Injection and tell them your setup and what you do with your truck.

I hope to get some HP/TQ numbers when I get to Carolina Auto Masters dyno sometime soon.

Assuming the equal driving habits, how will the silver bullet affect fuel mileage vs. the sps62 vs. the stock charger?

Thanks, J. P.

the silver bullet is targeted to high hp trucks 600 or better, if you dont meet those #'s you will not be very happy--too much lag and loss of bottom end, with out the fuel to get it going. the best turbo for up to 600 or so is the sps 62 that is the best for towing, and they also make a silver 62 for the best of both worlds. .

somewhere i had heard that you can even put a silver bullet on a stock truck and it will do fine, cant remember where though.

hey wade you get the delievery yet?

Is the silver 62 new? What's the difference from the sps62 and the silver 62?

Matt, the idea came from Jet Pilot as far as I know. The idea is that if you run N2O, especially allot of it you don't need big boost or allot of air, you have that in the bottle. So they did a Silver Bullet backend with a 62 compressor wheel.

Mine is going to run the same 66 but with a Silver exhaust housing so we'll get to test that too. I just need to get more air out of the motor before I run a second stage, I don't think that turbo will like 70-80 psi as it's at 65 now with the bottle on.
