Silverline 4" stainless exhaust

just installed the DS 103 polished stainless 4" exhaust from silverline



sweet setup ...



1 1/2 hours from the time i crawled under the truck untill i put away the last tool ...



easiest exhaust i've ever installed ...



everything bolted right up, lined up PERFECT ...



way too quiet for my tastes, but it is the boss' ride and she likes it :-laf

I don't know if this will help or not but here goes. The owner of the ompany I works for has a Ford Excursion 6. 0L with the Silverline exhaust on it. I really like the way it sounds and I have been thinking of checking it out for my truck. I want a more free exhaust to help with temps but I do not want the extra noise a straight exhaust brings. This one is a little louder than stock but it sounds so good. It could be the V-8 that makes it sound good I just don't know.

it is definitely noisier than stock but a lot quieter than the straight pipe we've run for the last two years ...



best way to describe it would be ...



stock ____silverline_______________straightpipe ...



ahhhh ... 1/3 of the way from stock to straight pipe ...



no drone ... deeper ... and more of a whoosh at wot than the blaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh we've gotten used to





my napa pipe straght pipe rusted in half at Carlisle, PA, on the way home from the westminster dog show ... so i called a tdr freind (thanks Woodsrat) and found that Liberator diesel, in Carlisle, had one in stock for 600$, including the tip ...



(and yes i tried Jetpilot first)



don't know if i got burned but i like the fact that i got to see what i was buying and purchased it from a diesel performance shop ... not a mail order summit racing kind of place ...



i know that someone one here is gonna tell me that got one for 400$ ...



but even if i did get took the system was an absolute dream to install ...

I wanted turboback (no cat) in T304 SS, and I think they are the only guys that do that. The Silverline is quite but if you stomp it she yells. It sounds mean when it's going!!!
