Just got my single stack, it's a 5" to 7" miter cut. going to mock up this weekend, then send it to be HPC coated. Is a flex pipe needed or can i just hard pipe it ?

I have flex pipe in mine but as soon as I get my 4"I-5"O I'm doing a steel 90* elbow and tacking brackets to the pipe then making my own box out of diamond plate in welding this year. Should be a pretty cool setup. I'll have the CAD files drawn up next month when I start my drafting class again. The box will have a single six inch hole in the right bedside where the 6" tip will come out and then extend to the left and on the left side of my bed will be a built in compartment for tools and such, pretty excited for school to start this year which is weird but being a senior should make it fun.

I'm embarassed to say thats a Missouri liscense plate:( Stacks that tall on a pickup just look rediculous to me... .

P. S. Need any injectors???

Hmmm...

I dont think after lifting his headgasket months ago with the EDM's he has he needs anymore help breaking parts,LOL. Heck,he still has not got the head off to fix whats broken yet let alone more parts to break more stuff. Some of us down here would like to se him get it fixed so he can drive it now,not in the year 2020.

Scot...

Need I tell them how many video tapes it took to the get the correct height for that stack,LOL... ... . Andy

I'm working on building a set myself, and I'm hardpipeing it. As long as you have some sort of flex thing so the stacks can move a little with the engine torque its fine. I think it looks bad arse when the stacks move a little with the engine torque.

I'm building a backrack and putting some rubber hangers off of that to my stacks, and it seems to be working good. My buddy did that on his Powerstroke too and it works good.

Here is a scary set of them like those from the "Show Me" state truck. Now you have to understand that this is a truck from here in PA. They are both crooked(left one is forward, right one leans back),above the roof by about 2 feet, stick welded together and used 3inch pipe for the feed tube and crossover. They are also different heights, left is taller than the right and held to the bed with 1/4 bolts and nuts. "Cowboy Up" it says on the windshield,I am ashamed to know this dude is from PA.

Just a fine example of what a welder, some chrome, a 12 pack, and a couple hours before the next NASCAR race can yield... . :-laf

To offer some defense of the height issue, do they pull trailers, if its livestock, I would see them wanting to get the exhaust above the trailer.

I can understand if they pull a trailer, I know I wouldn't want to smoke my cattle/horses out, still looks funny though. Though, I can't say too much, I'm all about function over looks. That PA trucks stack fabbing needs some help... .

Going to be going to town this afternoon, will make sure and take my camera with me. Some of the ones here in S. Central Ky, make me want to LMAO.

Couple of the rigs around here look like the last pic, and blow nothing but black smoke ALL the time... don't these guys know that is wasted fuel !!... . but it looks real cool man ROGLMAO.

Frey, I do like the way you are doing yours tho, nice and simple and functional. That is the way I would do mine if I was going to put stacks on.
