Siphon transfer hose

Has anybody used a siphon transfer hose to take fuel from fuel tank in bed to

your regular tank. The Hose i am referring to is a clear hose with a brass thing on one end of hose that you insert and move up and down to get fuel started.

have you used and is it any good( from tank in bed to your fuel tank)
