sirius ant connection

How do you get to the sirius ant connection on a 07 3500? I want to unhook the stock ant and connect another ant that will be mounted forward so my Lance doen't block the signal.

Does your truck already have the box for the sirius radio under the dash? I had to go purchase a kit from the dealer to install the unit. The antenna plugged into the sirius box and then a cable from the box went into the back of the stock head unit.

i had an 04 that i went to circuit city and bought a magnetic ant and mounted it but marker lights and ran wire down left side of windshield then into truck to box

I think he wants to know where to find a connector so he can change to an aftermarket antenna.



I have read where the 2006 receiver is either on the RS kick panel or above the glove box. the manual shows the receiver behind the rear seat, but I don't think its there anymore. I have heard that you can plug an aftermarket antenna into the stock connector, but I don't know for sure.

I got this from the TDR three years ago. They have the connection you need to plug into the rear of the factory head unit/radio to connect your sirius/xm/ipod or other devices
