SIRIUS Installed Sun -- no reception this AM!

I finally installed the SIRIUS antenna and receiver on Sunday, activated it and enjoyed Sun and Mon tunes trouble free. This morning, nothing but static!!! The channel numbers and descriptions still displayed but there was nothing but static on all stations including the 184 default station. I called SIRIUS to check on my account and they said "no problems" ..... anyone else experience this ??????



Went out later in the AM and it work fine now... ... ???????????

This happens to me periodically. Nothing but white noise. A couple of hours later it works just fine. I've never bothered looking into it but always suspected it had to do with something pertaining to their updating their subscription database.

I have both, there are certain areas near my girlfirend's house that can't pick up either. Other times I can get them at night and not in the morning. May be a combo platter of Satellite position and mountains by her house. I think XM also has land based repeaters, but they don't help near Ft. Montegomery NY.

Maybe in Florada... :-laf I installed XM in my 2006. I finally canceled the account and told them that this was the best "tree" "hill" detector that I ever owned. Every time I got out into the hills/woods (where I needed XM) it would fade in and out. I don't think this is a problem in the flatlands, or further South, but here in the NW it just wasn't worth the monthly cost...

Had xm and the service was a little worse than sirius. Not much difference between the 2.
