Hi All !!! My first post here and just let me say that I have learned a ton reading posts for the past six months. Tons of knowledge here for sure.

Anyway, I am working with a dealer right now who is trying to get me a truck. (via dealer trade). The truck has the "RAZ" radio. (The one with cassette and CD).

My question is does this radio have contols for the Sirius system and all I need to do is drive off the lot and activate via Sirius? Or do I have to buy a seperate reciever? Like the Kenwood or Audiovox plug and plays.

I know I could ask the salesman but, I trust you guys more.

sirus

MM, they have to install an antenna and install a receiver to your

present radio. the Sirus is great, for us we travel and don't like to search for stations all the time or listen to a bunch of commercials

I hope this helps GWD

BTW, if you want to preview the programming on Sirius, go to their website at www.sirius.com and you can preview any channel for 20 minutes. When the time expires, just start over again for another 20. After you get your account with them, they will give you a password so that you can listen to streaming audio 24/7 for no extra charge.

I've installed Sirius on a 2003 "Raz"

c. d. changer . Installation required a

antenna /receiver kit and a separate

template kit with install instructions.

cost around $ 300.

I had are best local car stereo place do the install (well worth it).

D. C has got to get there act together and factory install these systems and take the mystery out Satellite radio!G. M has been

factory installing for almost a year now!

Enjoy!
