Sirius radio

This question is for the 06 owners with factory Sirius radio. Which of the factory radios will display the artist and song title. My radio is the REF and won't display anything but the channel. I'm wanting to get one that is on ebay but I want to make sure it is right before I do. I think that one is a RAK radio.

Mine doesn't show the artist and song and it is the one with the 4 speaker system. It is soon to be replaced by an Alpine / JL system that is on order.

This is an issue with the RAZ radio as well. Do a search on here. There was a huge discussion about it a year or so ago. Supposedly the wire that sends the artist/title information only makes it as far as one of the midstream plugs. The wire deadends in that plug and doesn't continue on to the radio for some reason. I know the radio will do it because the local digital FM stations display song title/artist. If you are good with tracing wires and doing some splicing, you should be able to get it to work. One post gave some detail in adding a pin to an existing harness to get the wire to connect all the way thru the system. One of these days I may try to get it to work on my truck.

Strange. What ever came in my laramie does display the info, but it don't scroll like all the players you buy direct from Sirius do. My wife's VW don't scroll either.

The RBQ radio in my 2005 doesn't show it either :{ And like the others here, I find that strange since it shows the artist/title for FM RDS stations.
