Looking for some pointers on installing the Sirius receiver. I bought the Mopar kit for the '03 and can't figure out the mounting placement for it. Instructions say to mount using bolts for brake light switch. The switch is welded and the pb switch looks out of the question. It appears it would work with bolts that hold the main wire harness but unit is to wide and inter fears with clutch pedal or firewall depending on orientation. Has any one installed in a '03 with a manual trans? If so I would appreciate some insight. The system is operational but would like to mount it correctly.

I gave the directions a quick once over and tossed em aside, only really paying attention to the hole drilling. Mine is velcro'ed and zip tied. I keep my trucks for awhile so a lot of stuff tends to build up under the dash, velcro makes it easy to relocate when the next thing comes along.

10-4 on that Krabman, I thought maybe I was a dumb I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER and didn't see the correct location,I still may be ds. Just a little anal about getting things right. How's the X-monitor?

I like it, blends in well except the texture on the form isnt the same as the pillar. Works just like you would imagine looking at the ad. Its overpriced but I would do it again.

The receiver mounts verticly on the outboard side of the clutch pedal. It mounts to the left and above the large wire bundle disconnect plug. You have to mount the receiver on a bracket that comes in the "Install' kit:pN 82208116. Once this is done, the entire unit is mounted.

When I mounted mine I moved the pedals all the way forward, then pushed the clutch pedal to the floor in order to get it past the pedals. Love the unit very much!

Thanks Wayne, I figured that would be the spot. But with out the power pedals and me not being a ballerina I think I'll leave it alone. Maybe get it moved when I'm in Montana, get one of the Nephews to do it for a drive. At least I know where it 'spouse to go.
