Siruis radio antenna question

No luck searching... I have a truck camper on my truck, (06' CTD quad cab short bed) I need to install a new antenna on top of the camper. Does anyone know exactly where the antenna hooks up to the Sirius part of the radio. I think it is a stand alone box obviously under the dash... I want to unplug the stock antenna and plug in my new one...

Open the glove box and remove it. Look up under the dash, it's straight up above the glove box opening. Remove the yellow antenna connector and plug in your other antenna. It is a snug fit to get the other antenna connected so be prepared. I have a magnetic mount antenna and route it out onto the hood of the truck when the camper is on.

Hey Rich, Thanks for the reply... On my old truck, I went to the hassle of routing the antenna under the truck and through the camper to the roof for best reception, is it worth the hassle or would your application work good enough. Thanks again! Pete

It works great out on the hood. Plus, only takes about 5 minutes to do it.
