Site upgrades/username and password integration

I've been working the last week or so to try to integrate the different parts of the site better so it will be more convenient for you to use. As of tonight if you are logged into the forums (with cookies turned on) you will no longer be asked for your username and password when you go to the TSB's, TDR Member Exclusives, Chat, or when you manage your Reader's Rigs album. All of those features now check your machine for the cookie that vBulletin sets and uses that to log you in to them. If you aren't logged into vBulletin then it will ask you for your username and password. What it won't do yet is set a cookie for you at that time so that if you go back to the forums you'd be logged in - I'm going to work on that after I get this part done.



I am currently working on getting the travel companion and the classifieds to operate off of the username and password from vBulletin as well. They will also use the cookie when I get that done. I hope to this completed by next week. Those two features are written in CGI whereas all of the others are in PHP. I'm learning CGI as I go and tonight I was able to get the code finished that recognizes the cookie, gets the information out of the database, and verifies your password. Now I just have to modify the two programs to use that data instead of what's built in to them for the login.
