Hi All,, I am having trouble with my cd player. It is the Infinity 6 cd player. It is reading 'cd error' on display and won't play or eject cds. I believe there are 4 cds in it now. I don't know if the is a way to fix it or if it is covered under warranty (3yr/36). Has anyone else had this issue or know anything about this type of cd player? If it were a single player I figure I could get the disk out , but I know nothing about how to go about trying to get them out or just take it to a dealer and see if they will do anything. Thanks in advance for any help.

It's covered under your 3 year, 36K warranty. Take it to the dealer, because if you try to fix it yourself and you screw something up, your warranty for the radio/CD is void.

my 6cd player went for a poop a while back. . complained about it one day i was there, and they ordered a new unit before even looking at mine. . was changed out the next day. . however, it did take a long time to get my cd's back from the place DC sends their radios to be remanufactured at [like 3 months]

Exact same thing happened to my son's 04. 5 Dodge/Cummins.

If you ask around you'll probably find that there is some small, unknown electronics repair shop in or near your city that does that type of work for the local auto dealers. It is a common problem.

Several years ago the OEM in-dash unit in my wife's BMW "ate" a cassette. Like you, I had no idea how to retrieve it or repair the unit. The car was already several years old and out of warranty. I think it was the BMW dealer who told me who to take it to.

When I visited the shop owner was very knowledgeable and helpful. If I remember correctly they had the unit repaired and the cassette returned that afternoon at a very modest charge.
