I went with the Banks tuner about 8 months ago havent been too impressed plus i know more now than i did then. The six gun has given me good low end power but top end is weak. I am wondering if there is anything i could safely stack over the six-gun?

i was thinking of going with the six gun w/pda,but now seeing the news that its not that powerful. would the guys that have it,would you do it again or go with something like the soon to be released 06 smarty .

If you are looking for all out power then Cholman is right dont get the banks stuff... I have the Banks PDA and enjoy it... its not super quick but runs the 1/4 in 14. 5 might be able to get it just a bit faster... I wanted to go with something like the TST or the Edge but after i was gone for a weekend i got back and had a pda in my truck :) so i just went with it...

If your looking for a single box with a lot of power then you'd be better off looking elsewhere. The Banks Six Gun by itself simply isn't that impressive when it comes to power. After all, it's simply a high end pressure box w/timing as the Dodge application adds no duration.

The PowerPDA is what really sets it apart. It's a great monitoring tool with audible alarms and comprehensive set of gauges. It also allows you to customize each level with different parameters. My favorite parameter is the "Accelerator Pump" as you can use it to help keep down the smoke in day to day traffic or increase it to help turbo spool.

As for stacking I'm currently running it with a Superchips FlashPaq, and it's working great. However, as soon as the Smarty comes out for the '06 I'm dumping the Flashpaq.

Would I buy the Six Gun/PowerPDA again? Yes, I love the PowerPDA and smooth power and so far stacks great with downloaders. I'm also getting 21MPG with my combo so I can't complain. But if I could only purchase one thing it would be the Smarty.

Thanks!

Contact us on any Stack,The New PowerPDA can Produce Up to 160 additional HP (stand alone)With the Proper stack and support I have Produce 300hp. with all the feature mention by many members. The SIX GUN will also Stack nicely with a variety of application. anyone recommending to sell is either a cheerleader or uniformed.

Our X Power Module without timing is a great stack. In a stack it should give you another 100-110hp. Very simple plug in. The module has a two year warranty as well.

Pat Please contact Me, I was not aware that the X-Module was stackable.

Well 8 months ago they didn't have the PDA. I don't have any experience with it. i have a six gun w/ speedloader and 6 stage turn knob. Don't get me wrong it pulls like a som-b***h but wont keep up with an Edge in the quarter mile. I would like to get a good stack and hang on to the banks because there aren't many of us around here to represent. Will the x power and flashpak give me duration or more advanced timing and fuel? And like mentioned earlier will i make me run hotter?

The flashpak will work, you will have to watch your gages,The way the X-Mod is configured I don"t think it will stack well with PowerPDA or Six-Gun,although I have not tested it. Stacks NEED hardware Support,Turbo,Trans,CAC,RAIL. Our new Modified Rail (hopefully)will be available to the general Public soon. I have not yet decided on what to call it.

The Flashpaq in it's current state is primarily duration and timing, where the Six Gun/PowerPDA does pressure and timing. Although it's not a good idea to stack timing, both seem to be on the mild side and stacking them doesn't produce any timing rattle on my truck.

As soon as the '06 Smarty becomes available I'll see how it stacks with my PowerPDA. This stack should have more potential as the "extreme" tune for the Flashpaq is still unreleased, and according to them won't be extreme after all as they are trying to make it 100% safe for a bone stock truck.

You'll want to watch your EGT's with any performance adder...
