I have a NV5600 apart right now, it looks like the bearing between the input shaft and the main shaft went bad. . the rest of the bearings are not discolored and the little bit of fluid that was left in the box. was not burnt. .

There was a lot of fluid in the bell house , soaked the clutch. . came out the input shaft retainer. Any one else had this kind of failure??

Nope! But we think the dealer put the wrong type of fluid in my transmission and it distroyed the syncro bearings. My rig is currently spread acrossed the shop. :{ Be careful of the fluid that you use!

Other proven fliuds (non OEM) Redline MTL (manual transmission lube) and Royal Purple Synchromax (I use it in my 5600 and transfer case, no probs for 40,000 miles). Look in Readers Rigs for my pictures, there you will see some of the OEM fluid I drained out

Any fluid other than OEM has the very real potential for warranty issues.
