size of faceplate on 2" guage

I have not bought my guages yet,because I am making a custom holder for them. What is the dia. of the faceplate? Are they 2"? or do they fit in a 2" hole. Thanks

Rusty,They usually call for a 2 1/16 hole. What I've done before is use a 2" hole saw and then a die grinder to enlarge the hole. You are probibly better off to wait till you have the gauges before you make the hole,it's not to fun to try and make the holes smaller.
