I am very interested in the 4 1/2" suspension lift for my dodge. I looked at the kit on Skyjacker's sit, and it doesn't mention anything about the brake lines, Does anyone know if the factory brake lines are long enough to accomodate the lift, or does it come with extensions/new hoses ? Also, if anyone has this lift, could they please post anything else I may have to consider with the lift (this is my first suspension lift) such as axle re-alignment and things of that nature, Thanks !!!!

EarthRomer.com has one on his truck. Check the site out. I am also interested in getting the lift after my warranty expires.

I got it and and like it a lot--as far as I know everything you need is there--I don't think they extended the brake line hoses, but I'm not sure as it was all done for me--the only thing that they did have to do or that I had to come back for was a spacer to drop the carrier bearing on the driveshaft--other than that--nothing really to report except that I like it and think it's a good system----chris

Hey guys,

check the classified as there is a kit like you want for sale and it would help a guy that needs to sell one for health reasons just doing my good deed for the day (cant get the boyscout of me)

best regards

Diesel Dan

Diesel Dan, you've made an incorrect assumption. I've been corresponding with Randy for the past 5 days about this lift kit and would NEVER jump in front of someone else as you've erroneously concluded. I had told him I would buy it before you posted the classified's existence in this thread. I've got pretty thick skin, but I don't stand for any unwarranted accusations to be made, especially without a shred of proof. My intention was to save anyone the trouble of checking into this as it was already purchased.

I've forwarded this thread to Randy, who had posted the classified in the first place, in case he would like to comment.

Hey guys lets not turn this into a Ford or Chevy site. I have to say you guys are some of the most professional people I have ever had the honor of meeting and I hope years down the road I can still say that. As a cop for 12 years I have come to know some nice people but you TDR guys are great. As for what I am selling is the lift kit which is on the TDR classifieds. I have not seen any money as of yet. I know several have promised to pick up the kit or overnight the money once they figure out if they can afford the kit. Shipping to Fort Worth Texas is going to be around $225. 00 as the kit weighs 315-325 pounds. I have offered all people involved my phone number so I can secure a definate buyer for the kit with a call. Its hard to try and satisfy everyone involved in this deal. I have received several emails saying I will buy it only to have another email 10 minutes later saying I have several more questions or my wife said no. Hey guys I NEED TO SELL THIS ASAP!!! Whoever wants it call me at 410-287-5240. P. S. If there are more then 2 pages of replies how do I get to the second page, Signed computer dummy. Thanks!! (can't find anything that has click here to go to page two)

please dial 9-1-1 for me as i have my head soo far up my (_*_) that i am having trouble breathing. This is obviously a fine case of not having my brain ingaged before putting my mouth(fingers) in gear. Please accept my most gracios appoligy and you can smack my upside my head if we ever meet. my responce to rattlebox was not intended to be that strong of an attack on you but i had seen this backside artwork on a different site and wanted to post it and see what kind of responce i would get from the board(forgetting the implications to yourself as you are well respected on this board) remember your thick skin when we meet as i am probably not as big as you when you smack me upside my head.

Respectfully

4 1/2" lift kit available in Florida

The kit Diesel Dan refered to is in the classifieds on the second page. Not trying to rain on your parade groundpounder, but this is the one that is for sale for health reasons. You handled the potential stand off with finesse. Are you a hostage negotiator?

It is located in Florida if it matters...

Guys, Guys, Guys, It's OK, really, To tell you the truth I was interested in the double flex system anyway, but I must say groundounder's sale was a good deal to the member who got it. All I ask is you reply with how well the installation goes for ya ! Good luck !

DieselDan, thanks a lot for the reply. I'd like to think we can continue being friends through this great forum. In retrospect, I could have been more clear in my original post as to what it was that I meant.

Consider it forgotten :)

Cheers,

Only if i get to buy the first round someday. and i promise to save the (_*_) for DC or or that soon to be dead Mcveigh punk

Ram onward and upward

Rattlebox, I have the Skjacker 4. 5" Double-Flex system in my truck. The kit comes complete with new front springs, adjustable front trailing arms with beefy heim joints, track bar relocation bracket, double shock mount (front only), single steering stabilizer, new bumpstops, and brackets to relocate the stock brake lines. The rear suspension consists of new rear leaf springs and shocks. I would spend the extra money and get the Nitro shocks. My truck rides way better than stock, and is extremely stable in turns. The only bad thing that I can say about it is the red powdercoating on the front suspension got ugly real fast, as well as the paint on the rear leaf springs. The shock tubes are getting a little rusty. My next project will be detailing the suspension with some Rustoleum. Other than that it is a well engineered suspension. I don't think you'll be disappointed. One word of advise concerning tires. Stay away from Interco TSL Super Swamper radials. See my post in the products section. Regards, -Glen Pratt
