I'm looking for the best deal on kit d292cdks, which has 2 1/2'' lift for the front, and 6'' lift for the rear(gets rid of lift blocks, with no actual lift). Right now Skyjacker direct, and 4 wheel parts are tied at $650 for the kit, $100 for shcoks, and another $100 for shipping. Can anyone tell me where to do better? Thanks, Alan

I didn't know Skyjacker made a 6" spring for the rear. When I purchased my lift kit for my '91 W-250, the guy at the off road shop (Desert Fox in Glendale AZ) told me the 6" springs were for the front, and the 4" springs were for the rear. I needed to install a taller block in the rear to even it up with the front. I wonder if they gave me bass ackward instructions on the spring installations, as the lift kit never did come with any instructions whatsoever. If they did, I think they need to replace the "O" with a "U" in their business name.

I tired the racesearch site, they came back with $719 on their price... they say they won't be undersold, so if they'll match, and throw in the free shipping($100), I'll try to do biz with them. They're closed right now, so I won't know til later in the day. Thanks for the tip...

The 6'' rear spring is 0'' lift that takes the place of the 6'' block. Anyone else care to chime in on pricing and where to buy? Thanks, Alan

I'm curious about replacing the 4" block on my 2nd gen with skyjacker springs. Has anybody done this on a first or second gen? I'd like to get an idea of the ride quality with the Skyjacker rears.

The OEM rear spring block on my '91 W-250 was 3" tall (2 7/8" to be exact). A 6" spring without the block will give you a 3" lift.

The W250 3/4 ton may have 3" blocks, mine's a W350 one ton, and has 6" blocks...

Mine has 6" blocks in the rear, would like to have replaced the rear springs also but not in the budget, got the add-a-leafs incase it turns out that the front is higher than the rear, figured I can always sell them, I would think they are pretty universal.

My 92 came with the 6" blocks, I had them changed to the 3" blocks so that with the canopy I can park the truck in the garage.
