I have been wanting to raise the rear of the truck a little to get my rake back since I lifted the front. I am looking at the Skyjacker 1"-1. 5" add-a-leafs. This puzzles me. Are they an 1" or 1. 5"? Either way would be fine, but one thing I DEFINETLY DONT want is the truck to sit "cock-eyed" after the install. And, can these be used with firestone air bags? I really dont see why they couldn't, but I dont have a clue. I plan on removing the overloads, if that makes a difference. So, how bad is the ride gonna be with these add-a-leafs and bags with 5-10 psi and new hydro shocks?

Any advice is greatly appreciated

Jim

On my truck, the only lift they added was the thickness of the spring itself. Nowhere near 1 to 1. 5 inches. I don't recall any difference in ride quality, but that was a long time ago.

Yup, same here. They only raised the truck the thickness of the spring. Didn't make any difference in the ride. I ended up putting a 1" block in the leaf pack, along with air bags to use when I'm loaded down.
