OK my 94' 12 valve's slave cylinder went out. I replaced with a factory replacement without a bleeder valve. No Luck, it does not work. I followed the directions but the peddle is light and it does not work. Does anyone have any tricks to bleeding the air out of one of these things. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Bleeder

Fill the reservoir most of the way full, Install cap, Wrap a towel or rag around it to catch spilled fluid. Remove slave cylinder , slowly push rod in and out several times to bleed out air. I had the same thing happen last week and this took care of it. Good Luck!

Also, are you sure it is the slave and not the master? I'd always seen that the slave was what died and when mine went bad assumed it was the slave - nope, ended up being the master. There's a safety switch inside the cab against the firewall (at least there is on my 98) - you can slide that back on the shaft and there's a small sponge back there - see if that's wet.
