Competition Sled Pull at May Madness?

Got my new TDR magazine and read about the '08 May Madness event. It didn't say anything about a sled pull in '08. Does anyone know if there is going to be a pull at the '08 event in Pahrump? I'm planning on going but I really enjoy sled pulls. I think there has been a pull at this event in past years. It just wasn't mentioned in the TDR arcticle so I was wondering if that was an oversight. Anyone know?

Availabiilty of the track was up in the air at press time, so there are no plans for pulls as of now.

Yer right, Scott. Now all we gotta worry about is using Highway 160 for the pulls (police won't mind, will they?) and paying for the sled (and you volunteered to cover that, didn't you )

Is DHRA not having a national down in Vegas? Dang now I don't know where I'm going to go for my first races, I was hoping that they would hold it again so I could text out my truck on a track after more mods.

Nope, no DHRA in Vegas in 2008, they have moved further away from the west coast an more inland to a place probably better for you.

Guess the big city was a bit much for them ... and had to go to a more reserved kinda' place! You know! :-laf Even though they did have a cutie pie at their booth at SEMA last month!

Yup I looked at the schedule last night after I saw this post and was pretty excited about that. Gives me more time to build my truck up and hopefully lay down some better numbers and quicker times. Thanks for the info Scott.
