Competition Huntington, PA Truck Pull

Competition Southern Colorado Sled Pull & Free Dyno Runs!!

After a season and a half of second place finishes to me, and an upstart, Calvin Miller, last weekend, Redram finally got a win in the Northwest Pa points series, at Ashtabula County Fair. .

That puts him ahead in the points with 3 pulls left. They are right in a row, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights, Labor Day weekend.

There will parts left on the track, you can count on it.

A side note:

csevers managed to sneak out of Thornville, and come play with us again, first time since last year.

Now, he has been taking an intense course on pulling, down Thornville way, and learning the fine arts of smoking all 6 tires on pavement, destroying several clutches per season, huffing turbos, using BIG gears, etc.

We were lead to believe, he was aceing the course, and becoming quite the puller in Southern Ohio.

Well, he came up here, and ran right where he was last year, about 5th place. (except he didn't stall or let the sled hit him. )

I mean, Calvin even shut his truck off at the end, soes he could get close!

Hey Thornville Ohio, don't mess with TOWNVILLE PA!! :D

(Csevers, I have your ribbon and your check is in the mail!)

Clavins truck is really pulling nice, good, clean hooks, getting what he has to work, agaisnt bigger power guys.

Always fun to see that.

Congrats RedRam..... see, ole Sleddy ain't that tough anymore... must be getting old... .

Where ya pulling at on Labor Day weekend? I think I have that weekend off.

WWSPD...

I almost sprayed beer all over my 'puter when I saw that. That has to be the funniest sig I've ever seen...

Dang, I'm still laughing. :D

Hurumph.

You mean, where will I be beating Redram that weekend?

Burton, Ohio, Stoneboro, Pa, Waterford Pa, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.

Details on another thread, some dang place.

Gene,

After all the bashing you gave me in the past, :{ I would think you would give the SBC DD a little credit for these two guys. ;) :D

Actually, the performance of a clutch rest mainly on the driver and truck... Shawn and Calvin are doing awesome and you are a spectacle in the field of launching. Awesome to watch!

Peter

Easy Peter, we haven't been on a hooking track yet!!!!

From EEP site:

Craig- 5th NOTE: Truck Pulling 101 will be held this Saturday. Please plan to attend or I may have to start typing more info after your pull results. "

And you guys thought I was tough on Craig, from his own Aunt!! Dang! :D ;)

I should go to this too, if only it wasnt 600 miles away.

I will give the sbc clutch some credit I think Calvin is launching in O/D and slipping the dog POO out of that poor clutch and yet it makes it back to and up on the trailer after the pull. Can you say sweeet!!

If I knew everything about sled pulling what would Gene do then?? I attend remedial sled pulling class all the time as I am addicted to the "big gear" and some times can't help trying it as often as possible even when I know I really can get it down the track.

It was fun to see all you putzes again and look forward to pulling with ya again yet this year. Georgia any one??

Later baters

Craig

See Redram? I agree with Peter-its your lousy driving thats breaking parts, not the satan tires.

Peter, you had better talk to Shawn. He says he can't make Scheids for some lame reason. He spent all season getting it to pull right, now he has a chance to make up for his poor Muncie pull, and he is backing out!

If he doesn't show there, I will post all over the net, he was askeered to because he thought your clutch would slip on that track!!

Oops, did I say that out loud? :D :-laf
