Competition T.I.M Sled Pull videos..?

Alright I need some advice here. Sat night I pulled the sled at The Buck Motorsports. Wasn't too happy with the results. I only pulled 224 ft, that's two feet less than what I pulled stock. I now realize that there were some factors which played part in this. 1- the track was a mud hole from rain, 2 i forgot to turn off over drive, 3 i made the mistake of trying to build up my boost with an automatic trans.

After making two attempts at the pull, when I popped my hood my exhaust manifold was GLOWING CHERRY RED! My water temp was past 240 degrees. WHY????????

I am running a little lean-I have a booster pump on the way. My fuel pressure was a ZERO during the pull. I have a stock down pipe, but 6" stacks. I just replaced the lift pump earlier that day. It idols at 14, but with mods it needs booster pump.



ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
 
Pull at buck

I talk to you in the pit's after your pull, here's what i saw

1. no wheel speed

2. Sled was WAY heavy for the trucks in the class

3. the EGT's were off the scale is my guess.

4. No smoke from pipes. Lack of fuel press. is my guess.

5. when it glows like that, needs more air.

i thought you did pretty good considiring the crap condition of the track

Egt's were pinned out-guage goes to 1600. You say I need more air, what can I do to get more air. I only have the mega cannon intake now
