Competition sled pulling tires?

What does everyone believe in when it comes to sled pulling tires? I have been using almost bald radials for sled pulling, but everyday I rung bfg mts that have 30% tread. What set do you think would be more ideal to use sled pulling. The mts are35's, while the radials are only 265's. I thought that I would keep running the radials for the lower gear ratio. Thanks for the help.

i run the 265 bfg mud terrains they work awesome & have alot of bite. Everybody says why dont i put bigger tires on for pullin but i run a automatic in 3rd low & with 3:55 gears the 265s are perfect for ground speed & traction. we also run the bfg all terrains on our super stock truck & they seem to work better on it than the mud terrains did. weve ran both sets for verification. kurt.

Thanks for the imput. A friend has some almost bald 285 all terrain bfg's, maybe I'll try them with the 4. 10's.
