Does anyone know who makes a sleeper cab that extends to the bed floor and has a door in the back? A fellow TDR member with a very sweet W-350 has one, but I'm not sure who he is.

As always thanks in advance guys!

ARE has one with a door. .

I remember seeing sleepers. . you mean the ones that take up only a portion of the bed?

Havent seen them in awhile but as far as caps go with real doors...

The door is a $600 or so option to a $1200 or so cap...

The door also acts as a hatch that lifts up to have full access to the rear of the bed.

I should've known that was GeneH's truck. That is such a nice rig!:D

I did a check through some of the old posts and you're right Matt S, they don't make them anymore. :(

I was hoping that it would be an easy way to make up for not buying an extended cab-oh well.

If anyone knows of someone else that makes them please let me know.

Thanks guys!

I called and talked to them yesterday. They want $3,500 for the conversion. They want 1/2 up front, then you show up at the shop three weeks later and they finish the conversion in one day. Currently they are working on a rig from Reno. I thought a bit pricy, but cheaper than trading my truck for a newer model. Of course I can't afford either. :(

I couldn't resist. I called this place

Bayer Auto

so I could see what they charge. $6500 for a club cab and $11,700 for a full crew cab! They said that they match the OEM paint and interior and custom build the sheet metal. For the doors they take stock Dodge parts and modify them.

Pricey but it might be worth it if you've already bombed and modified your rig.
