Hi all,
I just acquired an 03 CC short bed (Cummins of course). I know the best way to avoid 5th whl/cab clearence problems it simply to not buy one. But, the truck was so nice I had to do it.
I have a small 21. 5 Nash with an extended pin box but I do a lot of camping off road so I will need a slider (for occasional tight spots), to fit my Reese hitch.
I was going to go with one of the newer Reese round tube sliders but found a used (cheap) Reese Kwik slide. It is not one of the roller versions. Should I persue this or just spend the bucks for a good one?
Missing my 95 long bed!
