Sliding Window Squeaking!!

Anyone else having a problem with the rear sliding window on the 03 squeaking? It seems that the clip comes loose and starts squeaking . I am getting tired of sending my wife back to resecure the clip, maybe tomorrow I will tie wrap the thing closed!!

Same problem. It's really irritating. I haven't complained to the dealer yet. It did it a lot for a couple of weeks then went away.

You don't have the radio up loud enough! LOL



I noticed it this weekend when I had old people with me that didn't want to listen to the tunes. Drove me to the point of road rage.



I can get it to go away but it just keeps coming back. If anyone fixed it permanently I would love to hear how they did it.

Best Fix..... solid rear window . This is one reason I went with the SLT, rather than the Laramie. No noise/leaks, more secure, and no lines in the rearview mirror.

Anyone still having a problem with their rear slider? I ordered mine with one, hope it doesn't sqeak.

Mine hasn't done it in months, so I am not sure what the original problem was or why it went away. Maybe it will come back with warmer weather, maybe not.

I recall reading something about this problem at the dealer,

possibly a tsb or a dealer tech letter, i will check monday at work

and post back the fix.

Mine has never sqeeked, rattled, snickered or even made fun of my driving

It wouldn't matter.....

It wouldn't matter if mine did squeak or even hollar... . My dog swallowed my hearing aid, I didn't want to find it, if you get my drift and the VA won't give me another one until Nov '03... . Well if it does squeak, maybe it will stop by then.
