If I set my cruise control for interstate driving, I get a slight amount of surging. It doesn't jerk or buck, just a real subtle back and forth feeling. Doesn't feel like a miss. Is this a normal diesel thing, or something to worry about. It did it prior to the Banks install as well.

Dad's '03 started out just like that. Near the end he couldn't harly drive it anymore it was surging so bad. 5psi boost upsurge followed by a near cutout. Replaced the FCA and all is well. Cummins part #4932457 (actuator, ETR fuel control)
