I bought the truck with the engine stuff done to it. Came with receipts

You said the original issue was the engine spun a bearing, it would be interesting to know if it had coolant in the oil as the cause. I assume they changed the crank and rod, if not, and they only changed the bearing.....

My guess is they didn't pull the head, that's why the old gasket and why coolant is still getting in the oil. I hope the new gasket is a fix.

Yeah who knows what actually happened. I hope the gasket fixes it. If not Ill be tearing it all down and doing the work

So got everything back on. Now the transmission when accelerating will let loose then let off the gas and it hooks up and keeps going. Also a coulple times when I left off the gas the oil pressure about goes to 0

Looks like you should check your trans fluid level (read the dipstick!) (neutral/park) and you should hook up a mechanical oil pressure gauge.

transmission fluid levels are where they are suppose to be. I don't have to be getting on it hard for it to do it. I can just barely be touching the throttle and all of a sudden it revs high I let off the throttle and it'll grab again and continue going on.
