slip fit rear drums

Does anyone know what year Dodge went to slip fit rear drums on the 2nd gens and can these be retrofitted to the first gen. I'm tired of pulling the whole hub to service the rear brakes.

I don't think they will fit however I don't know this for a fact. I do know that the 1st gen used 12" brakes and the 2nd gen uses 13" so if it would work you would need everything from the backing plate out. It might be better to just change to a 2nd gen axle.
