i've got a question for ya'll. i just bought and installed a 13'' clutch on my 5 speed. the advertisement said that the clutch would hold up to 500hp and 1000 ft lbs of torque. i understand now that you have to break in this style of clutch (ceramic), but man i'm getting frustrated with this thing! i have about 1700 miles on it now and it still slips when i put it on 5x5. i tried racing a kid this evening and got my butt wooped cuz the clutch let loose. what do ya'll recommend on this? and sorry this is so long! thanks in advance.

i have: hx40, stage 1 intake, HO vp44, HO injectors, edge comp, Smarty, 4'' exhaust going to dual 5'' stacks. i plan on adding some 120horse injectors and a stage 2 intake. thats why i went with this clutch setup. i did dyno my truck about a week ago, and the numbers were: 342 hp and 780 ft lbs. what do you think?

i guess i should have just had some patience, cuz i think the clutch will be ok. it finally started to hold up pretty good in 4x5. before i could get it to slip no problem in this stage, but tonight, i was showing off in front of the Hooters, and it held pretty darn well! i guess i'll just give it more time. thanks for lookin guys.
