When flogging the beast everything is good until TC lock. At TC lock, the RPMs don't drop, unless I back off the pedal.

What is the problem?

Can I milk this into a warranty R&R? (And pay extra to upgrade?)

Maybe the Banks system with the trans saver wasn't that bad an option.

Cyborg,

Guess the only way you'll find out is if you try to get it covered under warrenty. Every dealer is different, I'm sure you know this, you've been around the site for a while. Some guys have luck getting things covered having a modified truck, other guys get the entire warrenty voided due to product "XYZ", its all the call of the dealer providing the service. If you feel comfortable going to your dealer with the mods you have, go for it, if not, put out the word for a "reasonable" dealer in your area. No one on here can tell you whether or not it will be covered, unless they are the one who will cover it. Good luck.

Thanks.

But I have the answer. Only the Cummins motor is covered under the 5 year 100k. Not the TC or trans.

But back to question 1, Does that sound like a TC problem, Bands, or line pressure.

I'm prepared to dump 3k into the trans before serious bombing begins. But I'd like to put it off for 20k (CTD warranty) if I can.

3 year on everything else.

I think 7 on rust.

Well you fell in the same crack that I did then. Right after I bought my 2001. 5 in June 2001, they came out with another round of 7/70. SNOKING
