Today's active topic...

Anyone else experiencing slow/no loading of their user name and password on the reply page? This started about three days ago.
I've tried resetting my cookies to no avail. Is it my computer or TDR's?

Might just be your neck of the woods. It's been fine here in So Cal. I have a BOMBED connection (DSL line).

I have to redo my screen/password for the reply section every 2-3 days, TDR seems to lose the info and I have to re-enter it.

Why won't my date last visited ever update? It shows 5-21-00 for the last I don't know how long. I've tried resetting preferences several times and it doesn't help. Any other ideas?

JGblkLand,
Please try what I stated in this thread. It might work for you too #ad

Bill,
I can take a guess at your problem too. Try deleting your temporary internet files. You may even try reducing the amount of disk space allotted for temporary files. I am thinking you might have that folder full and it is taking longer to weed out the right cookie. That's just a wild guess though.

Bryan,
I tried that and reset my preferences again, but it still shows the 5-21-2000 date. On the Ford Diesel site the date is updated correctly. Any other ideas?

For what it's worth. I've had to enter user name & password on every post since the server move. On the positive side I know my password now. LOL

For you guys having trouble with the cookies, try this. First go to the main forum page, then go to preferences (in the upper right hand corner). Then click on "Click here to delete all cookies set by this forum!". Then go back to preferences and set hit the yes store username and password and then submit preferences. Then go back to the main forum screen and click on profile in the upper right hand corner and enter your username and password. See if that helps, if not - let me know.

Since I already typed this up at work I will post this. Hope something works for you.
<hr>JGblkLand,
&nbsp;Well, I'll take another try at this. Since you registered in May and your browser is stuck in May, I'm guessing you had trouble since you started visiting the site. #ad

&nbsp; This is the best I can suggest for you to look at. While in IE, go to menu item: Tools, Internet options, then click the Security tab. Set the Security level to Medium. If the Default level button is grayed out, you should be set up OK. To be sure, click on custom level. Scroll down to the Cookies section. Be sure both cookie options are set to enable.
&nbsp; If that doesn't help, try deleting all of your temporary internet files. This may or may not help, but it can't hurt anything either.
Go back to the general tab of the internet explorer options window, hit the "settings" button, then "view files". Go up to edit, select all, and then press delete. When prompted "Are you sure you want to delete the selected Cookie(s)?", answer yes. That's all I can think of for now.
