Slower Reverse

Is there anyway to get my G56 reverse to a lower gear. When backing the fiver it's way too fast, have to keep working the clutch. Maybe I wish I had a 4x4. Heard Gear Venders only work in forward gears.

Check with US gear, they have under drive units

Your problem is the 3. 73 gears in your differential(s).

Your complaint illustrates the reason I and several other members always preach (and annoy some) the advantages of using a 4. 10 gear for heavy towing.

those of us with 4wd and dynatrac do not have that problem. i think us gear is your best option. might look around for a 4 speed brown-elite from a old gas rig, would not cost much and there is room. and think of all of the old timers that will tell you how to drive it.
