The Ultimate Class C RV Rig

New Keystone tires

I have seen many people do it. I need a place for the dirtbikes.

Tow a small utility trailer behind the 5th wheel.

I now have a 25ft 5th wheel trailer and a 8x10 utility trailer behind that.

Does anyone have an opinion on the legality of it in California?

I was told that " for recreation purposes and no longer than 60 ft a special class A license was not required". . Any officers out there have anything to say?

I know the obvious is don't back it up any other do's or don'ts ??

Thanks all.

Wurty, you putz. :) Been trying to email you but even your lovely wife--lord knows why she married you--won't return my emails. Shoot me your address to -- email address removed --. :D

Got the runaround from the DMV . They told me to haul doubles I need a commercial class A license.

The Highway patrol office told me " Less than 65 ft and for recreational purposes a NON Commerical class A was all thats required ".

anyone know the truth ?

A friend of mine who is in CA does this, he uses the small trailer for Quads.

I will ask him next week what the deal is on that. PM me if I forget.

On another note- he had me install one of these:

#ad

because he can't see that trailer way back there and wanted to know if he was dragging it with a flat. Pretty neat system. I mounted it just behind the map lights.

You find more info on it here
