Got a few items done,still got a couple more electrical things to fix. Dual optimas. The cables connecting the two together cost me $14 shipped on eBay. NAPA wanted 70 to make them, the others I had. Emergency hood release cable thanks to you tube decent garage. Moved voltage regulators next to batteries. Put in a hookup through the grille for optima battery charger. Got my tailgate trim panel a very nice one from eBay. New carpet came the other day, won't go in till summer.

A word of caution, I've had a friend do duel batteries on the factory tray and if you don't reinforce it the additional weight will start to crack and break the battery tray at the mounting points over time, but it looks good

I really don't see that happening.The optimas are lighter than a flooded battery but the overall weight gain with 2 of them is 25 spread equally across the tray. And my tray is very sturdy never rusted thanks to optimas being on it since 91. However I'll look at it today cause I like small projects. Thanks.
