Does the Smarty do boost fooling too, or is a seperate piece of equipement/electronics needed for the boost fooling. It would be on a 01 with auto (the truck in my signature).

Just curious,

Yes, Smarty eliminates the problem of triggering error codes when you run more than stock boost.

Of course you need to modify your wastegate, etc. to make that boost (by using a boost elbow, j-hook, etc. )

cool thanks guys.

Yeah I am thinking about switching from the TTPM to the smarty for more versitility and the other functions available. I will be running a TST J-hook for the wastegate issue.

Thanks for the info,

just remember, the Smarty does a great job in the lower power range, but it won't compare to the TTPM in the upper range. If you do go with a Smarty, try it with and without the TTPM. I think you'll be surprised. I've run my Comp alone, my Smarty alone and both together. The overall power range is best with both units, but (TO ME) driveability is better with just the Smarty.

Thanks Beast. I dont know about running them together, I am still on a stock auto with 70k miles on it (about 50k with the TTPM on) and I wouldnt want to fry the trans. This is my daily driver so I am looking for drivability vs blowing the doors off of a mustang etc (even though that would be fun as he. . )LOL.
