Smarty and OBD

My friend has the Edge Insight for his gauge readings. He wants to pick up the new SMARTY ON THE FLY. Does the Smarty stay plugged in the OBD port? If so is there any way to use both? Thanks

If I understand it correctly, you don't need to have the SMarty left plugged in unless you want the POD feature.

Yes, It must be plugged in to make any adjustments. You can find the sweet spot then disconnect and reattach the insight, but you wont have the adjust on the fly feature.
