Can I get some real world numbers?

Has anyone had this long enough to give me some towing numbers? All I am really hearing right now are power and smoke on the street.

EGT and MPG numbers would be awesome.

Thanks.

Eric I did post mileage increases for towing. A hotshotter will be doing mileage testing when he returns from vacation on 8/14

yogibear should have his smarty by now. yogiibear is always driving Oo.

Eric, I'n not sure which truck you have the SMARTY on. I have one an a 01. 5 2500 QC 6spd. I tow a 16ft construction trailer loaded with tools and my 30 ft camper trailer. Both trailer weigh between 10k-11k. I have not been able to push the EGT's above 900 even going up the mountains leaving it in high gear. I just towed my camper to Maine and back, all secondary roads and averaged 16. 9 mpg hand calculated. AND the power is just soooo much fun... Hope this helps. By the way, empty on the interstate with cruise set around 75-80, I get 19. 8 mpg. :D :D

Out here in the west, where we have REAL mountains, and not "speed bumps", :D I get about the same 16+ MPG with the Smarty towing our 24 ft fiver (14,500 GCW) as I did when all I had was the Edge Comp. Biggest difference is, I have lots more power on tap with both the Smarty AND the Comp, plus the behind-the-wheel adjustability of the Comp to enhance the Smarty's programming.

Empty, I hand calculated 22. 2 MPG with the Smarty, in mixed STEEP mountain driving mixed with level freeway and city driving.

It really mostly depends on WHAT Smarty setting you use - and how you control that right foot! :-laf

yes that is correct :)

Bob,

Can you change it on the fly? I know it doesn't have a moniter like the outlook but with the bullydog you can still plug it in and change it. Is that possible with the smarty?

Thanks
