Only got in two runs at test and tune before the rain but here is the results. Keep in mind that my transmission is slipping very bad even at total stock settings. Also the edge was set at zero for both tests.



First run SMARTY AT SW1 30Hp With Timing, Edge at 0

As you can see smarty speaks for itself. I cant wait to get a transmission that dont slip and turn it up!!!!!!
 
you only ran on setting ONE!?!?! I was hoping to see some numbers on 6 or above. Was the transmission slipping with just the Juice? Or did it start after getting the Smarty?



Your numbers on the Smarty are about the same as mine on the Juice setting 5 (before the HOT Juice upgrade). My lift and 35" tires don't help getting down the track, but I'm surprised you got to that on setting 1.



I want to see some numbers from someone that is running a higher setting...

Yes my transmission is starting to slip on stock settings. All I can say is setting 1 on smarty blows away the edge on five IMHO.

I was hoping you would have some numbers on the higher settings. I'm sure you would've got into the 14's. A friend of mine took his 06 g56 with only a bully dog and ran low 14's at 95-97mph last night. Not to bad for a slipping stock clutch.

Im hoping maybe I can get a transmission and try it again with higher settings on sept 1. Got to make some phone calls and find out.

X2 I know its very hard to get 6 speeds in 14's unless he's making 600hp+ That and if he was an auto he'd be in the 12's. Let alone if he was slipping... .

i went 14. 5 today at 98mph. shifting second thru sixth, i think it is possible and i did it with the a/c on and a slipping stock clutch, not to mention wade was next to me in the passenger seat.

I personally have bought and helped install everything that is on the truck. And it isn't much...

He made 2 runs 3 weeks ago and his best was 16 sec. I blew my headgasket so he went back home and picked up a gooseneck to take me home. Friday night I watched him go 16. 2. I told him his launch is pathetic. I told him to put it in 4 high and get it up to 2500+ rpms and slip it in 2nd. That run was 14. 62. The next he got off the line smoother and it was 14. 40.



Just because your truck "rollin on 18's" wouldn't pull itself out of a hole :eek: doesn't mean you need to knock other people. I have NOTHING to lie about. I don't have to prove anything...



If you want to come see for yourself, we will be at MoKan dragstrip next Friday night. Fly out here to Missouri and we will show you how it's done...



Next time it will be on video... :-laf

I know it can be done with probably 400 hp to the ground my 01 6 speed would run 14. 7's and 14. 8's all night long on a stock slipping clutch. I had a comp box and 100 hp injectors I doubt that my 01 was anywhere near 600hp.

I would never want to race my new 6 speed. I dont think 18's would hurt my 60ft.



back when I was young and dumb I knocked off 1. 9 60ft w/ my 02HO w/ EZ.



My best on my 02HO w/ EZ was a pathetic 16. 6 and that was beatin down on the truck. 4X4 Launch at 2200 rpm in 2nd gear and never let off the gas even when shifting, except 5th gear which always seems to be a PITA to get into when racing.



Sold the 02 and bought a 99 w/ DTT and Comp and ran 14. 7 all day.



Now I have my 03HO and believe its a waste of $$$ and too hard on the truck to attempt to race with a NV5600. It takes about 100-200HP more to get the same ET with a stick vs auto.

I'm sure your 18's wont hurt. I'm running 33's on 20s and I consistantly knock off 1. 71-1. 73 60 fts..... My best is a 1. 69... My truck falls on its face after the 1/8... I need more fuel. The stage 2 and injectors will fix that hopefully.
 
Luken, what caused your head gasket to let go? Let me know if your interested in a BIG set of injectors for your 2005. I"ll have some for sale soon.
 
I guess the combination of drive pressure and timing. I'll try to build it to hold the stack because it's insane how the tst/crazy larry runs... At least on my truck.

other than the bully dog what else does your friend have done? has to have more than just a bully dog to make a 14 second pass with a six speed. you can see what i have in my sig and then compare that to my time slip. your friend has more than a bully dog box on that truck.

I hate to bust your bubble but yep it does run 14's and the ONLY FUELING BOX IS A BULLY DOG on crazy larry...



He doesnt have the slip of the 14. 40 with him, its at his house but he just handed me one of the of 14. 62.

You guys are starting to sound like the ford guys at the track that swear my truck doesn't have stock injectors because of the way it smokes... :rolleyes:

before you start that why dont you look in the CP3 post and do alittle reading. i haven't met anyone who can shift quite like me. im sure if wes dimig or wade reads this they will also agree. hey if he is running 14. 4's great but that clutch is doin its job all the way down the track. mine is screaming from the launch all the way down.
